Call for Submissions: Anything Queer
Are you part of the LGBTQIA+ community? Fantastic! Coin-Operated Press invites you to submit to our zine where anything goes!
The theme for this zine is totally open! All we ask from you is that you are queer and that whatever you want to submit will fit inside a zine!
We are looking for: articles, illustrations, short stories, zine excerpts, photography, poetry, artwork of any medium, educational guides, pride banners, posters, flyers, short essays, queer flags, recipes, comic-strips, reviews, informationals, gay frogs, collages, and anything else you can put your imagination to. Ideally, your work will fit on no more than two pages.
The finished zine will be A5 in size and printed in full colour.

ZINEverleigh is a little project from a family of zine lovers and is the perfect place to swap, sell or giveaway your zines (or come have a look at everyone else’s!).
ZINEverleigh will be held on Saturday 3rd June, 2023 from 10am – 2pm.

There’s no happy mail to share this week – but there is plenty to send out! I’ll be taking an admin week to catch up on sending out happy mail, emails and other messages, as well as other admin things for Sea Green Zines.

Call for Submissions: Horror Straya!

From paranormal to terror, psychological to the brutal – the horror genre pushes the boundaries of what it means to be human.
Horror’Straya is an Australian artist and writer zine, aimed at horror lovers and those who are interested in entering the world of the horror genre.
All artists and writers will receive up to 2 pages to showcase their love of horror. You may enter work that has been self-published before, but not professionally published. If you are unsure, get in touch with the team.
For artworks that defy the boundaries of the 2-dimensional (such as 3D art, assemblage, costume or jewellery at, you may submit photographs as your contribution).
A template will be emailed to you when you sign up which you must adhere to. If you go larger or smaller, the team will have a hard time editing for you.
Every contributor will receive 2 physical copies and 1 digital copy of the finished zine they can use to promote sales.
All profits from the sale of this zine go to 2 charities (to be announced), and the amount raised will be announced and donated on the 1st December 2023.
