Brush aside, the cobwebs of time.
And wander between the pages.

Told in fable and rhymes,
Through struggles, and weary ages.

A Podcast for Storytellers, Poets, and more. We feature storytellers, poets, musicians, as well as interviews with people with interesting occupations. Many contributions come from fellow zinemakers.
Floors upon floors of empty corridors, incongruent spaces stacked on narrow, wide, long rooms. Doors. Rooms. Windows. Let’s build an hotel. Collettive and dissonant.
In this zine we want to represent the uncanny, the weird and the disturbing. We want to explore strange happenings, backrooms, and distorted dreams. We want to investigate liminal spaces with a non-binary perspective.
We want to construct an impossible architecture build on paper.
< So… what to send? >
Everything. We ask you to build the elements of this hotel by creating doors, corridors, rooms, warehouses, reception halls and fill them with your work. Whether these are in the form of written text (random thoughts, short essays, stories, playlists, reviews, recommendations or advice), illustrations, sculptures, photographs, mixed media art, memes…
< In what language can I send my work? >
Preferably English and Italian. But all languages are welcome 🙂
This is a collective zine, which means that once the layout is finished and the file PDF has been sent to everyone, you will be free to print, distribute or sell it without problems.

ZineWriMo Day 9: Refill the Well: Listen to & share your favourite creative tunes
Hello and happy zine weekend, my dear zine friends! I don’t think I have ever been so ready for a weekend as I am for this one. My goodness! Today it’s about refilling that well and the tunes we use to do so.
Here’s a screenshot of part of my Spotify ‘feels’ list that I find really puts me into a zone.
What are you listening to?

Event Date: November 9-17, 2024 Event Location: Online
Spotlighting the work of diverse queer creators from around the world. Featuring virtual tablers, presentations, workshops, and meetups on zines, queer issues, and DIY culture!
This November, around the world, LGBTQ+ zine makers and fans will gather at the Queer Zest Zine Fest — a two-day all-virtual zine fest accessible to anyone with an internet connection. This will allow folks around the world to meet and exchange ideas where physical limitations would restrict access to these spaces.
It will be a place where queer zine makers and queer zine fans can gather to celebrate zines, queer community, and share stories.
The Queer Zest Zine Fest organizers are a coalition of like-minded queer zinesters with a host of event planning experience under their belts. The organizer team met online in queer zine scenes and decided to join together to make this event a reality!
The fest will highlight the work of diverse queer creators from around the world.
ZineWriMo Day 8: Friday Night Highlights: Show your work(s) in progress
Happy Friyay, zine friends!
I don’t know about you, but I am quite happy that it’s Friday. Feel like it’s been a long week, a long start to the month, and I am ready for some Friday night chill.
One of my goals for ZineWriMo is to pack up a bunch of long overdue mail and get it sent off to zine friends around the world. So today’s focus is getting a bunch of printing done so I can get folding and putting together those envelopes.
How is your Friday? What are you showing in your Friday Night Highlights?

Thursday greetings, zine friends! It’s a beautiful day here in this little patch of Australia and a beautiful day for making a mini-zine kit! I decided to make a kit with my friend, Black Wolf’s, daughter in mind. She’s super craft, and I know she loves her coloured pens and patterned paper, so of course I had to include plenty of both!
Have you made a mini-zine kit today? What did you include? Did you make it with someone in mind, or will you give it to a stranger? I’d love to know.

Hello and welcome to the middle of the week! Wednesdays mean one thing for ZineWriMo, and that is Work In Progress day. I’ll be finishing up the mini-zine I nearly finished on Monday.
What are you working on today?

ZineWriMo Day 5: Share your ideas notebook/planner/Notion/etc
Hello, zine friends! Here we are, launching into day five with a prompt I enjoy because I love to see how people organise their notes and their lives.
I’ve done quite a few different things over the years. A dedicated notebook just for ideas alone, Notion, Trello, sticky notes all over the place… For this year, though, I am happy to have found my happy place: a notebook I made myself that has everything I want and need for Sea Green Zines things. Including my ideas! I show a little bit of it in the short below.

ZineWriMo Day 4: Make a Zine: Make a double-sided mini-zine
Hello zine friends! It has been a big day with a big happy mail as well as day four of ZineWrimo, but I couldn’t be happier. I don’t recall off the top of my head the last time I made a zine, but it has been quite a while. The inspiration for this one hit hard, and I’m absolutely thrilled.
I didn’t quite manage to finish it up, but I’m nearly there and very happy to (almost) have a new zine to put out into the zineverse.
I hope you all are having a fabulous day and are feeling inspired.
