I get it. I do. If I had an investment property, I would feel better if rental inspections happened. But understanding doesn’t soothe my anxiety over the prospect of a stranger wandering through my house (aka my safe place), judging how I live… Not to mention that the stranger has the power to make our lives hell.
I just want this day over.
